Business Education Partnership Committee

The Business Education Partnership Committee is dedicated to strengthening the partnership between local businesses and the Mount Horeb Area School District.  Members of the committee come from a wide variety of Chamber businesses as well as from various areas within the School District.

The Business Education Partnership Committee meets quarterly:
3rd Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.
Mount Horeb High School Conference Room - 305 S. 8th Street.

Mission:

The Business Education Partnership Committee will promote learning within the schools and community to ensure all students, parents, and business partners have the experience, knowledge, values and opportunities to succeed in the workforce and contribute positively to the community.

Values:

Create a means of providing career information that will help develop school curriculum. 
  • Provide business expertise and resources to the educational system
  • Educate students on the career opportunities in the area
  • Provide educational expertise and resources within the business environment
  • Expose students to local opportunities
  • Give students a free peek into the local business community
  • Educate the community on the partnership between school and business
  • Provide opportunities for students to join the local work force
